We are seeking skilled culinary professionals to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced kitchen environment. As a member of our cooking team, you will play a crucial role in preparing and delivering high-quality culinary creations to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food products are handled, stored, and prepared safely and in accordance with food safety guidelines.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, fryers, and slicers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste.
- Monitor food inventory levels and notify management of any shortages or discrepancies.
- Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to prevent contamination and ensure food safety.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Assist with receiving and storing food deliveries as needed.
- Requirements:
- Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen or culinary environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/carry heavy objects.
- Culinary degree or certification (preferred but not required).
- Food handler's certification (required).
