About the Job: We are seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Project Manager to join our team in a leadership role. This is an excellent opportunity to work on challenging high-profile design and construction projects and contribute to the success of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic thinking for integrated project teams and execute projects to meet client and company goals.
- Develop work scopes and cost estimates for new opportunities and manage financial and technical aspects of projects.
- Assign and manage work effectively, execute projects to meet technical, quality, budgetary, and scheduling requirements, and plan and direct geotechnical field observation and testing programs.
- Conduct geotechnical analyses and prepare geotechnical recommendations for design and construction projects, prepare project deliverables including reports, plans, and specifications.
- Demonstrate strong verbal communication and written skills, including client deliverables and regulatory submittals, and demonstrate strong coaching and mentoring skills.
Requirements:
- Minimum of Bachelor of Science in civil engineering, Master's degree in geotechnical engineering preferred.
- Must be licensed as a Professional Engineer in Massachusetts or able to get reciprocity within six months.
- Minimum of 8 years of geotechnical experience, including site investigation, laboratory testing, geotechnical analysis, and geotechnical engineering construction support experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience managing geotechnical engineering projects from proposal to construction.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organization skills and attention to detail, and proficiency in industry-standard software.
