About the Role

The Dishroom Attendant is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitized environment in the dishroom and surrounding areas. This includes cleaning and sanitizing dishes, silverware, pots, and pans, as well as sanitizing trash containers and food carts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize dishes, silverware, pots, and pans
  • Sanitize trash containers and food carts
  • Clean and maintain the dishroom area, including floors and drains
  • Operate the dishwasher to ensure all dishes and utensils are clean
  • Handwash, rinse, and sanitize pots, pans, and utensils
  • Clean the kitchen area and cooking utensils
  • Remove trash and recyclable items and transport to collection areas
  • Transport carts to patient floors and retrieve carts at end of meal service

Requirements

Some high school education is required for this role.
