Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Wholesale Produce Manager to join our team at Charlie's Produce. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing the financials, sales programs, and operations of our produce division.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage financials, including P&L, budgeting, and forecasting to ensure profitability
- Develop and implement successful sales programs and lead departments towards a shared vision
- Provide leadership and guidance to all departments, including operations, transportation, purchasing, and sales
- Measure performance to company goals and standards and establish targets for improvements in safety, quality, cost, delivery, and employee relations
- Manage policy deployment in areas of Lean Manufacturing techniques, quality, cost reduction, complete and on-time delivery, safety, customer satisfaction, employee relations, visual controls, and plant performance measures
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of Sr. Management experience in wholesale food distribution industry
- Proven track record building successful teams and driving results
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent experience
