Warehouse Associate Job Description

The Warehouse Associate plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient movement and management of inventory within our distribution center. This position is responsible for receiving, storing, and shipping merchandise in a timely and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fills order requests and stages merchandise for timely shipments
  • Evaluates products and moves them to designated zones for processing
  • Moves merchandise between the dock, stockroom, sales floor, customer pickup, and delivery areas
  • Audits and maintains accuracy of inventory levels
  • Responsible for assembling merchandise and fixtures for seasonal changes
  • Processes receipts and ensures inventory is controlled and monitored
  • Creates documentation to log shipments and deliveries
  • Provides excellent customer service during all interactions
  • Reports and responds to management regarding unsafe and unethical conditions
  • Develops a team environment with sales floor staff to ensure timely movement of merchandise
Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and move at least 50 pounds in weight
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
