Key Responsibilities:- Conduct initial screenings for patients to assess their oral health history and identify potential issues.
- Provide guidance to patients on how to maintain good oral health at home, including advice on brushing and flossing techniques.
- Identify dental issues such as periodontitis, gingivitis, and cavities, and work with dentists to develop treatment plans.
- Use x-ray machines to take photos of patients' teeth to help dentists diagnose and treat oral health issues.
- Associate's degree and certification in dental hygiene program required.
- Physical stamina to stand for up to 8 hours at a time.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- State license to practice dental hygiene.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in dental hygiene.
