Friends of Puerto Rico is seeking a skilled Strategic Operations Leader to drive the execution of an innovative program in Aguadilla. This exciting opportunity blends logistics, community engagement, and program management.

About the Role

You will report directly to the President and Chief Program Officer, overseeing workshops, training sessions, and events while coordinating scheduling, venue setup, and resource allocation. As the key contact for community partners, you'll track deliverables, monitor progress, and ensure goals are met, working closely with the Outreach Coordinator, Program Assistant, and Program Coordinator.

Responsibilities
  • Facilitate team meetings to promote collaboration and alignment
  • BUILD RELATIONSHIPS WITH LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS TO PROMOTE COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS
  • Recruit participants and develop strategies to increase engagement
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for community partners
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in program execution, logistics management, or operations coordination
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills
  • PASSION FOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT AND THE ABILITY TO INSPIRE AND WORK COLLABORATIVELY WITH OTHERS
  • Fluency in English and Spanish is required; experience with compliance and federal grant reporting is a plus

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, to attract top talent for this critical role.
