About the Role
The Compliance Financial Analyst will perform ongoing monitoring analysis of transactions to assure compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), USA Patriot Act, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Currency Transaction Reporting (CTR), Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR), and other US Financial Institutions regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze customer transactions to validate alignment with their profiles.
- Identify unusual patterns or behaviors in transactions.
- Collect supporting documentation for analysis.
- Redact detailed analyses with customer descriptions, chronicles of events, transactions observed, identified patterns, and conducted rationale.
- Elevate customers with suspicious transactions for investigation.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Criminal Justice.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Banking Industry, Compliance, or Risk Management.
- Knowledge of AML, BSA, USA Patriot Act, and OFAC regulatory requirements.
- Practical knowledge of banking policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to present information concisely and effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
