About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Director to lead our Capital Projects in the Pharmaceutical Industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of project planning, implementation, monitoring, completion, and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project planning, implementation, monitoring, completion, and follow-up
  • Evaluate project issues and develop solutions to meet scientific, productivity, quality, and client satisfaction goals and objectives
  • Liaise with Management, Department Heads, Leaders, team leaders, and members to obtain input on benefits, needs, and issues associated with the project
  • Maintain the master project plan and schedule for assigned projects
  • Recommend operational or process improvements for the performance and successful functioning of the project team
  • Generate periodic updates and prepare formal presentations for required forums

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with over eight (8) years of experience within Capital Projects in the Pharmaceutical Industry
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual, Spanish and English
  • Experience in Scope of Work and URS Development, Cost Estimate Process, Design Verification & Approval, Procurement & Contract Management, Project Schedules (Primavera, MS Project, etc.), Project Controls, Subcontractor's and Overall Project Supervision, Commissioning, Validation, & Start-up Support
