Senior Operations Manager

About the Role:

LAZ Parking Midwest, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our assigned location(s). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of customer service and satisfaction, while maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assist with the management and development of the location(s) team to accomplish annual and periodic goals/initiatives.
2. Identify high potential employees to support the organization's continued growth.
3. Responsible for assisting with the opening of newly assigned locations.
4. Assist with the financial management of assigned location(s) ensuring adherence to budget and revenue enhancements.
5. Develop client relationships and business retention.
6. Assist the region with operations preparation for potential new locations.
7. Daily, weekly, monthly, and annual financial and operational reports as required.
8. Complete weekly location assessments to ensure the facility meets the clients quality standards.
9. Work to resolve any tech/equipment issues that may arise in the facility.
10. Responsible for customer account management to ensure payments are made by monthly deadlines.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience desired.
2. 1+ years in Management or Supervisory role preferred.
3. Experience leading a group of 10-20 individuals.
4. Previous experience working in high-stress situations with tight deadlines/high customer expectations.
5. Knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and General Microsoft Office Applications.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Supervisory experience is highly preferred but not required.
2. Ability to seek improvement and create an environment of idea sharing and creative problem solving.
3. Capable of handling employee conflict, following grievance procedures, mediating, and conflict resolution.
4. Strong customer service skills and abilities.
5. Ability to be approachable and facilitate coaching conversations with employees and managers.
6. Ability to mitigate and lead others to overcome challenges (Never Ever Give Up Attitude).
7. Ability to encourage open expression of ideas and opinions.
8. Excellent team building and interpersonal skills.
9. Ability to work independently and multi-task.
10. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization.
11. Ability to interpret policies, procedures, and standard business practices.
12. Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness.

Physical Demands:

Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.

Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 25 pounds.

Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods of time.

Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift frequently throughout a shift.
