About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join our team as a Corporate Governance Officer and contribute to the development of our organization's governance framework.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading the deployment and implementation of regulatory changes across all Popular companies, while also providing support in internal audits and managing regulatory examinations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the identification, deployment, implementation, and oversight of regulatory changes.
  • Support the management of regulatory examinations by gathering and reviewing responses.
  • Maintain updated repositories for all examinations and track issues identified.
  • Assist in the coordination of Internal Audit reviews and closure of findings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related fields.
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing projects and/or regulatory compliance.
  • Expertise and knowledge of banking operations and applicable regulations.
  • Licensed as an attorney in at least one jurisdiction (preferred).
