Trust Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Trust Representative to join our team at Popular Bank. As a Trust Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of trust accounts and providing exceptional customer service.

• Manage trust accounts with legal compliance, ensuring timely distributions and maintaining accurate records.
• Maintain an updated operational file of certificates, transfers, and other relevant documents.
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
• Participate in audits and reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• At least two years of experience in trust administration or a related field.
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of federal and state laws governing the trust services industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both in English and Spanish.
• Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
