Accounting Professional

Job Summary: Empower Human Resources seeks an experienced Accounting Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting and a minimum of three years' experience in accounting roles.

About the Job: As a Financial Auditor, you will be responsible for inspecting account books and accounting systems to ensure efficiency and compliance with laws and regulations. Your duties will include examining records, interviewing workers, and preparing financial reports.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect cash on hand, notes receivable and payable, negotiable securities, and canceled checks to confirm accuracy of records.
• Examine records and interview workers to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Prepare adjusting journal entries.
• Review accounts for discrepancies and reconcile differences.
• Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration in Finance or Accounting.
• Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a position with related duties in this area.
• Basic knowledge of Excel, QuickBooks and/or other accounting software skills.
