Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our Gastroenterology team. As a key member of our endoscopy services team, you will work closely with our physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Schedule: Part-Time 30 hours, Day Shift, Monday-Friday
• Work with our team to provide high-quality patient care during endoscopic procedures
• Maintain a safe and efficient operating room environment
• Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and technologies

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Surgical Technician Certification required
• Current experience in OR or Ambulatory Surgery setting is required
• Ability to adhere to all I.C.A.R.E. standards
• Knowledge of surgical instrumentation and equipment
• Knowledge of septic and aseptic technique and be conscious of both at all times
• Knowledge of care and safe handling of endoscopes
• Demonstrate awareness of/sensitivity to patient/family rights and cultural/religious beliefs and age-specific needs
