- Conduct quality control functions related to mammography, ensuring the highest standards of patient care.
- Operate mammography and biopsy equipment with precision and accuracy.
- Assess patient medical conditions, age, and size to determine suitability for mammography examinations and optimize results.
- Immobilize patients as required, explaining the need for breast compression during mammography.
- Report equipment malfunctions and assume responsibility for mammography equipment maintenance.
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly QC testing to ensure quality control functions related to mammography.
- Certification in Basic Life Support is required.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of a mammography program or equivalent experience.
- Current certification in mammography and basic life support.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
