Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Community Work Incentives Coordinator to join our team at Movimiento Para El Alcance De Vida Independiente. The successful candidate will provide work incentives planning services to social security beneficiaries, ensuring they receive the support they need to achieve independence.



Key Responsibilities:





  • Assess the potential impacts of employment and other changes on a beneficiary's Federal, State, and local benefits eligibility and overall financial well-being.

  • Develop a comprehensive framework of possible options available to a beneficiary and projected results for each as part of the career development and employment process.

  • Provide guidance on work incentives and benefits to social security beneficiaries, ensuring they understand their rights and options.

  • Collaborate with the WIPA Coordinator to assign work incentives planning services to beneficiaries.



Requirements:





  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.

  • Fully bilingual (written and spoken).

  • Previous experience working with people with disabilities and a proven commitment to serving this population.

  • Ability to complete a full background check and fingerprinting requirement approved by the Social Security Administration.

  • Excellent communication and public speaking skills, with the ability to sustain excellent interpersonal relationships.

  • Knowledge of computer systems, internet, and Microsoft Office programs.

  • Ability to travel across Puerto Rico, including Vieques and Culebra, and willingness to travel to the U.S. Virgin Islands.

  • Ability to complete SSA required training to obtain the CWIC certification.
