Lead Optometrist

Job Summary

The Lead Optometrist will be responsible for providing high-quality optometric care to our patients, while also leading our team of optometrists and staff members. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced optometrist to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive eye exams and diagnose conditions such as myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism, and presbyopia.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with eye conditions, including prescribing glasses, contact lenses, and medications as needed.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care to patients.
• Lead and manage a team of optometrists and staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, diagnoses, and treatments.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in optometry and eyecare technology.

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited program.
• Current licensure to practice optometry in Puerto Rico.
• 2+ years of experience as an optometrist, preferably in a leadership role.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
