About the Role: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Manager to lead our safety initiatives across the island.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive environmental, health, and safety programs in compliance with OSHA and MSHA regulations.
  2. Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments at various construction sites across the island.
  3. Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  4. Provide EHS training to employees and ensure compliance with safety standards.
  5. Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to ensure safe work practices are followed.
  6. Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
  7. Stay current with industry best practices and regulatory changes to ensure company-wide compliance.
  8. Manage EHS documentation, including safety manuals, procedures, and training records.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS management within the construction industry.
  • In-depth knowledge of OSHA and MSHA regulations.
  • Experience in creating, implementing, and maintaining EHS programs.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence a culture of safety.
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time across Puerto Rico.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
