Job Summary

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our multidisciplinary team at Avera Behavioral Health Center. As a RN, you will provide quality nursing care to our patients and supervise the staff working with you to coordinate cares with ancillary staff, and communicate effectively with the physician to ensure quality patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide quality nursing care to patients in a residential treatment setting
  • Supervise and coordinate care with ancillary staff
  • Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and treatment plans
Requirements
  • Graduate from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meeting the requirements of multi-state licensure
  • Certification in specialty encouraged
  • Membership in a professional organization encouraged
