Estimating Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Estimating Engineer to join our team at Aireko. As a key member of our construction projects, you will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, analyzing blueprints, and collaborating with clients and vendors to ensure successful project execution.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare cost estimates for construction projects, including time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
• Consult with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments, or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues.
• Analyze blueprints and other documentation to prepare detailed estimates.
• Confer with engineers, architects, owners, contractors, and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates.
• Audit cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops.
• Prepare estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors.
• Set up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred)
• 1 to 3 years of experience in cost estimating (construction project environment preferred)
• Good IT systems knowledge and skills including advanced Excel skills
• Experience in the use of spreadsheets, estimating pricing models and cost management tools
