About the Role
">This Cybersecurity Engineer II position at Collins Aerospace offers a unique opportunity to protect airborne control systems and work closely with product development teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop cybersecurity processes to meet internal and industry requirements
- Conduct security risk assessments
- Define and apply security analysis/test tools and methods
- Support response to cybersecurity incidents
- Develop and integrate advanced product cybersecurity technologies in embedded control systems
- Demonstrate general electronic systems and software knowledge
About You
- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and 2 years prior relevant experience
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in systems and software engineering principles focused on embedded control systems
- Knowledge of programming languages (C, C++, Python, etc.)
- Proven analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot tool and system operation performance issues
- Experience with code repository systems (E.g. ClearCase, SVN, Bit Bucket, Artifactory)
- Experience with one or more of the following tools (E.g. GitLab, Jira, Confluence, etc.)
- Direct experience with Agile methodologies
- General working knowledge of networks, storage, and virtualization
