Electromechanical Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Specialist to join our team at Integrated Power Services (IPS). As a key member of the IPS team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability of critical infrastructure across North America and the United Kingdom.

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment: Utilize your technical expertise to identify and resolve issues with various electro-mechanical systems, guaranteeing optimal performance and efficiency.
• Demonstrate exceptional customer service: Deliver unparalleled support to customers, addressing their concerns and providing timely solutions to meet their needs.

You will be responsible for performing service, diagnostic, repair, and preventive maintenance on various electro-mechanical equipment. This includes inspecting and testing equipment using portable electronic devices, installing/removing AC and DC electric motors, laser aligning equipment, reading precision measuring tools, and performing other tasks as required.

• PdMA testing experience: A strong background in PdMA testing is preferred, allowing you to optimize equipment performance and extend its lifespan.
• Level I Vibration Analysis: Experience with Level I Vibration Analysis is also preferred, enabling you to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
• AC/DC motor experience: A minimum of 2+ years of experience working with AC/DC motors is essential, along with a strong understanding of their operation and maintenance.
