Job Description
The role of a Proposal Writer at Heartland Consulting involves crafting responses to Market Research, Sources Sought Notices (SSN), Requests for Information (RFI), Request for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Quotations (RFQs), and other government solicitations.

You will collaborate with our integrated Business Development Department to articulate our capabilities, strengths, and solutions effectively.

Your work will directly impact our ability to secure government contracts and contribute to our growth as an organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proposal Development: Must be able to work independently but also know how to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
  • Content Creation: Research, write, edit, and format proposal content with precision and clarity.
  • Visual Elements: Help conceive and contribute to production elements for proposal sections.
  • Pricing Strategies: Perform market research and coordinate with Executives and industry partners to facilitate pricing strategies.
  • Engagement: Build relationships and collaborations with BD and industry partners to implement successful proposal workflows.
  • Compliance: Maintain an understanding of government regulations, industry standards, and agency-specific requirements.
