About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Culinary Assistant to join our team at La Placita Sport Bar-Santurce. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for preparing ingredients and assisting chefs in meal preparation, while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist chefs in meal preparation, including chopping, slicing, and cooking ingredients.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen area, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Help with the setup and breakdown of kitchen equipment and workstations.
  • Support the team in serving food during meal times, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Participate in inventory management by assisting in receiving and storing food supplies.
  • Follow recipes and instructions provided by chefs to ensure quality and consistency of dishes.

Requirements:

  • Basic knowledge of food safety practices and procedures.
  • Proficiency with kitchen tools, including knives and cooking equipment.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a busy kitchen setting.
