Head of Securities Finance

At Jobleads-Us, we're expanding our expertise-led consultancy services in Capital Markets. We're seeking a seasoned professional to join our Leadership Team as Head of Securities Finance, based in London or NYC/Boston.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build Our Sec Fin Service Suite
    • Conduct industry research across key Sec Finance domains and focus areas, covering Repo and Securities Lending, to drive client service needs.
    • Identify key industry forums and working groups, such as ISLA and ICMA, to collaborate with clients and vendors.
    • Develop Tonic Sec Finance service proposals and create thought leadership content, service decks, and website content.
  • Lead our Sec Fin Business Development
    • Leverage industry network for initial and ongoing sales opportunities.
    • Identify Tonic sales targets across firms, divisions, and individuals.
    • Lead service proposals and bids for new work and contribute to Client Statements of Work.
  • Perform High-Quality Delivery
    • Perform billable client delivery engagements as a Senior Tonic SME.
    • Create high-quality deliverables, including industry benchmarking, surveys, training materials, and client content materials.
    • Perform quality assurance reviews of artefacts produced by other Tonic team members.
  • Build our Sec Fin Team
    • Recruit Tonic resource needs for service proposals and client opportunities.
    • Contribute to Tonic job specifications and take an active role in recruiting new consultants.
    • Manage a motivated and energetic Sec Fin team to perform high-quality delivery engagements.
Requirements
  • 20+ years' dedicated experience within the Financial Services industry.
  • 15+ years dedicated experience within the Securities Finance domain, across Repo and Securities Lending.
  • Experience across a variety of different firms, including sell-side and buy-side.
  • Ability to produce high-quality content and artefacts.
  • Transformation experience, leading and supporting major change programs for technology/data infrastructure and solutions.
  • Strong communication and team leadership skills.
