Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Safety Officer to ensure compliance with occupational health and safety (OHS) guidelines. As a key member of our team, you will advise on measures to minimize hazards and maintain a safe working environment. Your primary role will be to identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring a culture of prioritizing health and safety within our organization.

Key Responsibilities

Provide expert guidance on OHS regulations and procedures
Conduct regular site visits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions
Develop and maintain safety policies and procedures
Collaborate with employees to promote a culture of safety awareness
Analyze data and statistics to identify trends and areas for improvement

Requirements and Skills

Proven experience as a Safety Officer or in a related field
In-depth knowledge of OHS legislation and procedures
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
