Certified Nursing Assistant

At Christian Horizons, we're dedicated to empowering older adults in mind, body, and spirit through faith-led service. Our community is built on a spirit of kindness, understanding, and patience, and we're seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily life, utilizing restorative nursing principles to promote and maintain individuals at their highest level of functioning.
• Report any change of condition in residents immediately to the supervisor on duty.
• Conduct resident rounds as assigned and document resident progress according to corporate guidelines.
• Complete admission or discharge procedures and foster a sense of self-respect and worth in each resident through consistent kindness and understanding.
• Participate in resident care planning and use proper equipment and techniques to ensure the safety of residents and staff.
• Complete required documentation accurately and timely, following all community policies and procedures.
• Ensure residents have call lights at hand or can be seen by staff and answer call lights promptly.
• Assist residents with meals, nourishment, hydration, and transportation, and provide quality customer service to residents, families, and staff.
• Work cooperatively with residents, staff, volunteers, and families to ensure residents receive the best quality care.
• Attend all in-services and activities as required and follow all written and oral directions as given by the supervisor.
