Salary:


The estimated annual salary for this role is $63,000 - $80,000, depending on location and experience.



Job Description:


As a Loss Prevention Supervisor at Burlington Stores, you will play a critical role in mitigating theft and fraud in high-risk areas of the store.


You will be responsible for promoting a safe and secure store environment, engaging with customers and associates in a manner consistent with our company core values, and serving as a valuable partner to store and field leadership.


Key responsibilities include:



  • Providing an effective deterrent to dishonest behaviors through role modeling and demonstrating a command presence
  • Maintaining a safe and secure store environment with a strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Engaging with customers and associates in high-risk areas to promote a strong impression of control and best-in-class customer service
  • Supporting store manager with internal controls and operational oversight, including conducting associate package/bag checks and monitoring point-of-sale transactions
  • Providing leadership with onboarding and ongoing support of associate training in loss reduction programs and processes
  • Assisting store leadership in preparing and executing semi-annual inventory processes and developing action plans to reduce shortage


Required Skills and Qualifications:


To succeed in this role, you must have:



  • A strong working knowledge of top shortage areas and support programs designed to identify and reduce theft
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and associates in a positive and respectful manner
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and address potential issues before they become major problems
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required
