Food Runner

Job Summary

The Food Runner is a key member of our restaurant team, responsible for ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests. As a Food Runner, you will be responsible for delivering food and beverages to our guests in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick up food and beverages from the kitchen and deliver to our guests in a timely manner.
• Assist the kitchen and service staff as needed to maintain the highest level of food quality, presentation, and timing.
• Set up the front line with the necessary equipment, plateware, and smallwares to effectively serve all food products.
• Keep the station restocked throughout the shift.
• Clean large and small trays and tray stands to be ready for service.
• Read order tickets as they arrive and place them on the ticket minder.
• Track cooking times on all orders and check finished product for proper degree of doneness, appearance, and plate presentation.
• Garnish finished entrees according to house specifications and procedures.
• Assist the server as needed to optimize the guest's dining experience.
• Accomplish all job duties while adhering to all safety guidelines and practices throughout the shift.
• Report any unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, accidents, and/or injuries to the chef or other manager on duty.
• Complete all closing duties at the end of each shift.
• Assist the chef and other kitchen personnel in accomplishing closing duties and kitchen cleanliness.
• Complete all side work in the front and/or back of the house as assigned and scheduled by the management team.
