Diesel Engine Operator

Xpand Staffing, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Diesel Engine Operator - Pump Station Technician to join our team.

• Operate diesel engines safely and efficiently, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Maintain detailed logs of events during shifts, including any irregularities or issues encountered.
• Respond promptly to alarms and troubleshoot basic problems, communicating effectively with mechanics for resolution.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment by adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Work effectively within a 12-hour shift schedule, including day and night rotations, and demonstrate comfort working in close proximity to mechanical equipment and high-noise settings.

• Able to operate diesel engines or willingness to be trained in basic startup and shutdown procedures.
• Comfortable working with mechanical equipment and in noisy environments.
• Basic knowledge of engine monitoring, including reading gauges and interpreting engine indicators.
• Strong initiative and ability to work independently during shift operations.
• Accurate record-keeping skills and clear communication abilities for relaying troubleshooting information to mechanics.
• Reliable personal transportation to reach the worksite.
• Previous experience operating diesel engines or in similar roles is a plus.
• Understanding of basic mechanical and engine systems.

$65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
