Associate Merchant

As an Associate Merchant at Walmart, you will play a critical role in driving profitable growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences in the Automotive Battery Accessories category. You will be responsible for setting category strategy, managing budgets, and leveraging your influencing and leadership skills to build partnerships with suppliers, vendors, and other Associate Merchants.

• Set category strategy and manage budgets to drive profitable growth
• Build relationships with suppliers, vendors, and other Associate Merchants
• Make decisions about product replenishment, supply chain, manufacturers, store operations, planning, assortment, layouts, budgets, modular, and pricing
• Design, develop, and launch new products for Private Brands
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and customer needs

• 2 years' experience in merchandising, buying, financial planning, operations, or related area
• Microsoft Office skills
• Negotiating with third-party suppliers
• Pricing, site merchandising, planning, or inventory experience
