Pharmacist II

At Cardinal Health, we are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacist II to join our team in providing exceptional pharmacy services to our patients and healthcare providers. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and safety of medication orders, as well as providing expert advice on drug interactions, side effects, and proper medication administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review electronic medical records and prescriptions to ensure accuracy and safety
• Provide expert advice on drug interactions, side effects, and proper medication administration
• Plan, implement, and maintain procedures for order entry and verification
• Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure quality and security of pharmacy operations

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or PharmD
• Active Pharmacist License and Registration for PR
• 1+ years of experience in pharmacy services
• Strong people and attention to detail skills
• Strong customer service focus
• Availability to work overnight, weekends, and holidays
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
• Fully bilingual English and Spanish oral and written
• Covid-19 vaccination required
