Responsibilities

• Flexibility to work morning and afternoon shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Brewing gourmet coffee and other specialty beverages.
• Accurately processing transactions and maintaining a balanced bank.
• Maintaining a clean and organized environment, including shelves, counters, tables, fixtures, glass, and floors.
• Providing professional service in all situations.
• Adhering to proper food handling procedures.
• Understanding and following proper equipment usage and safety procedures.
• Complying with uniform and grooming standards.
• Collaborating with the housekeeping department to ensure public areas are maintained and cleaned.
• Assisting with monthly inventory.
• Following policies regarding employee purchases.
• Properly handling credit card and check transactions.
• Verifying guest room numbers for room charges.
• Interacting with other departments to ensure guest needs are met and cleanliness is maintained.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Minimum one year of customer service and cash handling experience.
• Ability to work collaboratively while being proactive in service and operational needs.
• Basic math skills to understand and implement recipes and measurements.
• Good hand-eye coordination to operate kitchen equipment.
• Working knowledge of sanitation standards.
• Maintaining food preparation, handling, and storage standards.
• Supporting procedures for food and beverage portion and waste controls.
• Understanding and following standardized recipes.
• Performing other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Able to stand for up to eight hours.
