We are seeking a highly skilled Sleep Study Specialist to join our team at the Massachusetts General Hospital. As a key member of our Neurology department, you will be responsible for conducting sleep studies and providing exceptional patient care.
- Conduct sleep studies, including all-night sleep recordings, multiple sleep latency tests, and maintenance of wakefulness tests.
- Monitor physiologic phenomena and adjust patient care as needed.
- Prepare detailed reports of patient data and intervention used to diagnose and treat patients.
- Collaborate with sleep physicians to develop treatment plans and provide patient education.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in sleep medicine.
Requirements:
- Registration by the BRPT preferred.
- CPR certification.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Graduation from a certified hospital or secondary sleep training program.
- Certification in sleep medicine.
- Experience working with sleep patients and conducting sleep studies.
Work Environment:
The Sleep Study Specialist will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a team of highly skilled professionals. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to provide exceptional patient care.
