Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the end-to-end manufacturing process of critical subcomponents, assemblies, and systems for the Kaleidos microreactor. This includes developing and refining best manufacturing practices, ensuring reliable and safe production, and collaborating with design engineers to innovate on production methods.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement manufacturing processes to meet design and business requirements, including safety, quality, efficiency, and delivery.
- Partner with design engineers to develop innovative production methods for complex mechanisms and structures.
- Manage manufacturing bill-of-materials (mBOM) for components and assemblies.
- Identify and develop appropriate suppliers for component sourcing and fabrication.
- Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes and product quality.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing mechanical products in a production environment, preferably in high-tech or energy sectors.
- Desirable skills include experience with machining, inspection systems, non-destructive testing, and custom machine design.
