The Biopathology Center within The Research Institute at Nationwide Children's Hospital is seeking a Biorepository & Lab Technologist to join its team. The successful candidate will be responsible for receiving and accessioning various types of biospecimens, performing basic biospecimen processing and handling, and maintaining technical and computer skills.

• Receives and accessions various types of biospecimens, including fresh blood and bone marrow, frozen tissue, frozen biological liquids, and paraffin materials.
• Visually inspects specimens for quality and data accuracy, communicates with external sites to resolve discrepancies.
• Performs basic biospecimen processing and handling to prepare the biospecimens for long-term storage or distribution.
• Enters data into an electronic specimen tracking system.
• Maintains technical and computer skills required for specimen processing and tracking.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
