We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Environmental Due Diligence Consultant to join our team. As a Senior Environmental Due Diligence Consultant, you will be responsible for leading environmental due diligence assignments, managing and assisting with environmental compliance reviews, and supporting clients with compliance permitting, reporting, and recordkeeping.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and complete environmental due diligence assignments
- Manage and assist with environmental compliance reviews
- Support clients with compliance permitting, reporting, and recordkeeping
- Develop proposals and cost estimates for transactional due diligence and compliance projects, manage project budgets, and manage client deliverables
- Review site investigation reports and provide conclusions and opinions related to the extent of contamination and subsequent recommendations for additional actions
- Prepare technical reports that effectively communicate findings
- Formulate conclusions and opinions and communicate with clients
- Support multiple projects and meet high quality standards on project deliverables
- Design and execute complete projects of substantial size and complexity
- Conduct independent technical analyses and direct technical analyses of others
- Independently prepare draft work products and review/edit work products of others
- Play a significant role in client contact and lead client discussions
- Develop clients independently
We are looking for a candidate with a bachelor's degree or master's degree in a relevant environmental discipline, such as geology, environmental or chemical engineering, environmental science. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in environmental due diligence, with a particular emphasis on industrial and complex transactions, involving environmental compliance reviews.
