Frontier Management (Or) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lifestyle Director to join our team at Arbor Oaks Terrace Memory Care Residence in Newberg, Oregon.
Job Summary:
The Lifestyle Director will be responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising social, educational, recreational, spiritual, therapeutic, individual, and group activities for residents. This includes managing group activities, entertainment, and transportation services. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and have a passion for serving seniors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement activities to suit various interests and skill levels for residents
- Encourage and promote resident participation in activities through internal and external communication networks
- Develop and lead seminars, lectures, and workshops for residents, families, and friends
- Participate in local activity planners association and exchange ideas with Lifestyle Directors in affiliated retirement communities
- Assist with front desk duties and cover for missing staff members when necessary
- Represent the community by giving tours and marketing the community as needed
Requirements:
- Current state-specific driver's license and appropriate driving record
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassion for elderly and self-motivation
