Overview

At ResCare Community Living, we strive to provide high-quality support services to individuals with intellectual, developmental, or cognitive disabilities. As an Area Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient management of our operations, focusing on meeting the needs of our clients across various lines of business.

Responsibilities

  1. Supervise the provision of assistance to individuals served, promoting their physical, social, and psychological well-being.
  2. Develop and implement activity schedules for individuals served, ensuring staff follows procedures to promote optimum healthcare and behavior supports.
  3. Monitor labor hours, ensuring assigned service sites operate within budgetary guidelines.
  4. Responsible for client funds, receipts, and proper documentation.
  5. Deploy staff appropriately, ensuring staffing ratios comply with regulatory and service plan requirements.
  6. Conduct timely performance reviews, staff counseling, and corrective actions, including work improvement plans and follow-up.
  7. Provide timely and appropriate feedback on staff documentation, including daily progress notes, data sheets, and incident reports.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS in Business, Healthcare Administration, or Social Science degree.
  • High school diploma/GED and equivalent work experience of 3 years.
  • One year of supervisory experience required.
