Job Title: Creative Arts Therapist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Creative Arts Therapist to join our team at Menorah Center for Rehabilitation & Nursing Care. As a Creative Arts Therapist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and conducting therapeutic recreational and related activities to support the care, treatment, rehabilitation, and social and psychological adjustment of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and lead therapeutic recreational and related activities to promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to identify and address the psycho-social needs of our residents
• Design and implement activities that cater to diverse interests and abilities
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapeutic programs and make recommendations for improvement

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in a related field, such as Music Therapy, Dance Therapy, Drama Therapy, Art Therapy, or other accepted area of recreational therapy
• License within one of the aforementioned areas
• Excellent oral and written communication, leadership, time management, decision making, and motivation skills
• Able to address the psycho-social needs of residents
• Ability to interact with a wide range of people
• Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language
• Knowledge of diverse recreation program topics
