PRN Medical Laboratory Technician/Technologist

Arizona Spine and Joint Hospital is seeking a PRN Medical Laboratory Technician/Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, including blood analysis, urinalysis, and other diagnostic tests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform laboratory tests and procedures, including blood analysis, urinalysis, and other diagnostic tests.
  • Collect and process laboratory specimens, including blood, urine, and tissue samples.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including microscopes, centrifuges, and other specialized instruments.
  • Record and report test results, including abnormal findings and critical values.
  • Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, including physicians, nurses, and other laboratory personnel.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a clinical laboratory setting.
  • Certification by a recognized accrediting agency, such as CLS(NCA) or MT(ASCP).
  • Knowledge of laboratory procedures, including quality control and quality assurance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
