Job Title: Goods Receiver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Goods Receiver to join our team at Restaurant Depot. As a key member of our receiving operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of all incoming and outgoing shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor all activities in the receiving area to ensure accuracy of item description and counts for all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Ensure accuracy of all UPC numbers for all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Maintain IBT Seal Log for both incoming and outgoing deliveries
- Run Order Pool to maintain "on time" Purchase Orders

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in customer service or related field
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Computer Literacy
- Ability to lift 50lbs

Work Environment:

This position requires constant exposure to outside temperatures. Dock gates are opened most of the day allowing the temperatures from the outside to affect the temperature in the Receiving Dept.

Education and Experience:

We require a High School Diploma or GED with at least 4 years experience in customer service, or any appropriate combination of education and experience.
