Power Mechanic Level A

As a Power Mechanic Level A at Estes Express Lines, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of diesel engines, trucks, and forklifts. Your duties will include inspecting, troubleshooting, and diagnosing equipment, as well as performing safety inspections and preparing safety documents.

• Repair and maintain diesel engines, trucks, and forklifts
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment to identify issues
• Perform safety inspections and prepare safety documents
• Interpret work orders and technical manuals
• Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance

• High School Diploma or General Educational Degree (GED)
• Minimum of one year experience and/or completion of trade school
• Ability to use hand tools and test equipment
• Knowledge of general repairs and PM criteria
• Specific knowledge of heavy truck repairs in a commercial environment
