Hotel Reservation Specialist

As a Hotel Reservation Specialist at Hyatt Regency Grand Reserve PR, you will play a vital role in providing personalized attention to reservation inquiries. Your primary goal is to deliver exceptional customer service by accurately describing our products and their benefits to potential guests.

• Answer Calls: Respond promptly and professionally to all incoming calls, ensuring that guests receive timely assistance.
• Process Reservations: Close sales efficiently and request assistance when encountering rate resistance.
• Stay Informed: Familiarize yourself with market segments and apply this knowledge to your work to better serve our guests.
• Organize Information: Maintain accurate records and file information according to established procedures.
• Maintain Room Availability: Ensure that room availability is respected and orders are closed out promptly.
• Provide Excellent Customer Service: Maintain a professional attitude in challenging situations, addressing guest concerns within resort policies.
• Report Issues: Document any issues affecting the resort's image and communicate them accordingly.
• Follow Policies: Adhere to established policies and procedures, reporting equipment malfunctions and participating in required training sessions.

Requirements

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent in tourism or related field, or relevant experience.
• Computer Literacy: Proficient in using computer systems and software.
• Experience: At least one to two years of related experience in hospitality.
• Languages: Excellent English and Spanish communication skills.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.

The estimated salary for this position is $40,000 - $60,000 per year, based on the location and industry standards.
