Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Certified Senior Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Walgreens. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting pharmacists with daily tasks, and maintaining a clean and organized pharmacy environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists with prescription filling, verification, and processing
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment, adhering to company standards and regulations
  • Process and manage inventory, including ordering and stocking of pharmaceuticals
  • Assist with training and development of pharmacy technicians and cashiers
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager or Staff Pharmacist
Requirements
  • PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico)
  • One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico)
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior work experience with Walgreens
  • Basic math skills (counting, measuring, and weighing medications)
  • Basic level PC skills (e.g., starting and shutting down computer, using mouse to point and click, starting and closing programs, switching between programs, saving files, printing documents, and/or accessing information online)
  • Knowledge of store inventory control
