Job Summary:
The Associate Optometrist is a key member of our team, delivering exceptional patient care and driving business results through strong collaboration and leadership. This role requires a Doctor of Optometry with a commitment to quality patient care, knowledge of current Optometric theory and technology, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure executional excellence and winning results through partnership with the MOD and store team.
- Demonstrate commitment to exceed results through strong competency in KPI management and high accountability.
- Develop and maintain a positive doctor-patient relationship.
- Conduct thorough eye exams and provide accurate diagnoses and recommendations.
- Communicate effectively with patients and staff, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Maintain State Licensure in good standing and practice to the full scope of that license, responsible for maintaining Continuing Education requirements.
- Deliver clear, motivating, and constructive feedback to associates.
- Create a positive culture linked to our corporate culture; identify what motivates each individual and direct conversations and actions appropriately.
- Encourage associate decision-making at the level closest to the patient.
- Maximize partnerships through leadership, participation, and involvement.
- Take pride in the appearance of the office and maintain a safe working environment for all associates and patients.
- Lead by example.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Optometry degree.
- Commitment to quality patient care.
- Knowledge of current Optometric theory and technology.
- Strong communicator and listener.
- Problem-solving ability.
- Solid organizational skills.
What We Offer:
We offer competitive pay, ranging from $150,000 to $250,000 per year, depending on experience, plus a bonus and commission plan. Our benefits package includes health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and employee discounts. Earned income: $175,000-$225,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
