Farm Enterprise Manager

Job Description: As a Farm Enterprise Manager, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth and development of small-scale agricultural businesses. Your expertise in agricultural business and economics will enable you to provide guidance and resources to help these businesses achieve their goals. This role requires a strong understanding of agricultural processes, business management principles, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate applications for agricultural business assistance and develop recommendations for funding.
• Conduct site visits to applicant businesses to assess their needs and provide guidance.
• Collaborate with team members to develop and implement strategies to support the growth and sustainability of agricultural businesses.
• Maintain accurate records of applications, evaluations, and recommendations.

Requirements: A Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Economics, or a related field is required. At least three years' experience in agronomy, agriculture, field development, or research and development is preferred. Prior experience in conducting agronomist evaluations and knowledge of agricultural business management principles are highly valued.
