Appian BPM Developer

ICF is seeking a highly skilled Appian BPM Developer to join our Digital Modernization team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and operating high-performance IT engines to support our clients' business needs.

• Configure and develop low-code/no-code solutions using Appian BPM and related technologies.
• Ensure solutions are developed and packaged in an easily consumable and repeatable way for customers and internal technical teams.
• Participate in team meetings, including agile ceremonies and planning sessions.
• Support peer review of solutions developed by team members and provide feedback as needed.

• 2 years of recent hands-on experience with Appian BPM.
• 2 years of IT experience.
• 2 years of experience in all phases of software development for large-scale business-critical applications following Agile methodologies.
• 1 year of experience in tools and technologies, such as JIRA/Confluence, Github, and Bamboo/Jenkins.
• 1 year of experience working with users to gather and refine requirements.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• US Citizenship or Green Card required.
• Currently possess or have ability to obtain a VA Public Trust Clearance.

• Certified Appian Level 1 Developer (Certified Associate Developer).
• Experience defining and documenting architecture for technology implementations leveraging different architectural views.
• Experience working in tools and technologies such as Codescan, ELK Stack, SIEM, GRC, Splunk, Copado, Provar, Eggplant, Commvalt/Capstorm, and Colibra.
• Ability to understand the long-term ('big picture') and short-term perspectives of situations.
• Ability to translate business needs into solution architecture requirements.
• Excellent analytical and technical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation.
• Previous experience at the VA or previous military experience is desirable.
