Job Title: Mammography Technologist

Job Specialty: Mammography Tech

Job Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)

Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Experience: Mammography procedures experience in screening, diagnostic, digital, and 3-D; Outpatient setting experience; Ratio 10-15

License: Ohio Department of Health license required

Certifications: BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced Cert.

Must-Have: Digital Hologic (Tomo) knowledge is preferred

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform mammography procedures, focusing on both screening and diagnostic mammography.
  • Primarily based at the Breast Center with potential support at a satellite location.
  • Breast Center duties include a mix of screening and diagnostic mammography; the satellite location focuses solely on screening mammography.
  • This role does not require biopsy procedures.
  • Flexibility to work either an 0800-1630 or 0830-1700 shift.
  • During holiday weeks, shifts may change to 4, 10-hour days.
  • Adhere to compliance requirements, including timely completion of fingerprinting, especially if currently outside the state but within driving distance.
  • Compliance is urgent and must be prioritized upon signing the contract.
  • Flu vaccine required; medical exemptions are the only exceptions.

Requirements:

  • Ohio Department of Health license required.
  • BLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced Cert. certifications.
  • Digital Hologic (Tomo) knowledge is preferred.
