Coffee Shop Attendant

At Café 2150, we are seeking a highly skilled Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee drinks and other beverages to our customers. You will also assist the chef as needed, take customer orders accurately and efficiently, operate coffee equipment such as espresso machines and grinders, maintain cleanliness of the cafe, restock inventory and supplies as needed, handle cash transactions using a POS system, and provide friendly and attentive customer service.

In order to excel in this role, you will need to possess strong knowledge of retail math for handling transactions, understanding of food safety practices, experience in food service with an emphasis on coffee preparation, proficiency in food handling techniques, ability to perform basic math calculations for order accuracy, familiarity with various coffee types and brewing methods, competence in operating POS systems for order processing, and strong sales skills to promote products and upsell to customers.
